AFM (tax identification number):099466102 Hellenic Department of Tourism license number: Sunny Holidays Travel organizes the following optional tours: Santorini Island, Spinalonga-Agios Nikolaus, Granvousa-Balos, Samaria Gorge, Golden Island, Greek Evening, Knossos-Lasithi, Chania-Rethimnon.
Customer – a person who makes a reservation or makes a payment for the tourism service Sunny Holidays Travel. The customer is responsible for payment and for all persons mentioned in the reservation. The customer is obliged to inform the participants mentioned in the reservation about the tourism service, everything around it and its costs.
Participant – a natural person who, on the basis of a valid agreement concluded with the Organizer, participates in the tour. They are also all third parties on whose behalf the Customer has entered into the agreement.
Office Representative – a person employed by the Organizer who is authorized to perform certain activities.
Intermediary – an entrepreneur who enters into an agreement with the Organizer or another service provider on behalf of the client. The broker is not responsible for the quality of services provided by entrepreneurs, his liability is limited. Sunny Holidays Travel is an intermediary for such tourism services – boat trips. As a result, Sunny Holidays Travel is not responsible for the quality or implementation of the programs listed on the voyages of which it is an intermediary. In case of any complaints, the client must hand them over to the Organizer.
Optional trips – a short-term tourist trip to the island of Crete or to neighboring islands organized by the Organizer for participants staying on the island of Crete, both by land and sea. However, during the cruise, the Participant enters into a separate agreement with the manager. The manager is the organizer of the cruise.
Cruise – organized by local managers. The Organizer purchases tickets for the Participant and provides care for the driver / guide / office representative during the cruise. Participation in the cruise is based on a separate agreement / ticket concluded by the Participant with the local manager.
Agreement (confirmed with a coupon / ticket) – an agreement on participation in the trip, which the Organizer concludes with the Participant, who performs it in his own name or on behalf of third parties who have authorized the conclusion of the agreement.
Terms and Conditions – these terms and conditions, which determine the terms and conditions of the Agreement, including the rights and obligations of the Organizer and the Participant.
Infant – a child who does not exceed 5 years of age during the tour.
Children (5-12 years old) – a child who has reached the age of at least 5 and does not exceed 12 years of age during the tour.
Price – the price for participation in the trip.
Trip date – the day on which the trip takes place.
Day tour – a calendar day when the tour takes place. And if the tour lasts longer than one day, then the first day of the tour.
Program – excursion plan, planned sightseeing objects, places and regions. The tour program is not fixed, so it may change due to various circumstances.
Terms and conditions for their adoption
The regulations determine the procedure for participating in the optional trips organized by the Organizer. The Regulations indicate the rights and obligations of the Organizer and the Participant.
Participation in the tours can only take place on the basis of a valid contract / ticket.
The Terms are an integral part of the Agreement.
Each Participant before accepting a coupon / ticket for participation. On the tour, accept the rules. The rules are available on the Organizer’s website, for the office representative.
All information about the tours available in any brochure, promotional material or similar document is for information purposes only and does not form part of the terms or contract. In particular, the descriptions available on the Organiser’s website are not a commercial offer and are for information only. Exclusive documents are the Rules governing participation. The entrant declares that he / she is aware that the images of landscapes or monuments on the website, brochures and promotional materials are illustrative only and may not reflect reality.
Reservation and conclusion of the contract
The Customer can make a reservation to participate in the trip using the reservation system placed on the Organizer’s website.
When making a reservation, the customer pays a deposit as proof of participation in the trip.
Reservations can also be made orally by contacting a representative of the Office by telephone.
After making a reservation, on the day of the trip, the Participant is obliged to pay the remaining part of the trip price.
The Organizer may refuse or cancel the reservation, in which case, if the deposit payment has been made, the Organizer will return it to the Participant in the amount of 100%.
The price of the trip must be paid by the Participant in cash, in EUR, to the office representative.
After booking online, the Organizer will contact the Participant and a coupon / ticket will be prepared for participation in the trip.
The Participant can make a payment in cash during the tour.
The payment for the reservation and the coupon / ticket are equivalent to concluding a contract with the Organizer.
The Participant has the right to cancel the reservation or cancel it without penalty and return the deposit, if any, if the Participant informs the Organizer no later than 48 hours before the tour. If the Participant cancels the tour later than 48 hours before the planned trip, the deposit will not be refunded.
The Organizer has the right to refuse to participate in the trip due to the Participant’s fault, if the Participant is under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances, if the Participant has not arrived at the specified collection point and time, if The Participant obviously interferes with the work of the driver and the implementation of the travel program if the Participant’s behavior is inadequate and aggressive, which may pose a threat to other participants of the trip.
In the mentioned cases, the Organizer has the right to immediately terminate the cooperation with the Participant without returning the payment, in which case the Organizer is no longer responsible for the Participant until the end of the trip.
Participation of minors in excursions (persons under the age of 18 or persons who are not fully capable of legal proceedings)
For the minor’s participation in the trip, the contract may be concluded by the person’s parents or persons responsible for the minor’s stay in Greece (grandparents, guardians, authorized persons).
The person responsible for the minor shall assume full responsibility for the minor, for the person’s behavior if special care is required and for the person’s safety during the journey. They have a duty to supervise the minor and provide appropriate care, to inform the minor about the need to comply with the specified rules, safety and the law in a way that the minor understands.
If the minor causes loss or damage, the responsible person is fully responsible for it.
The age of the minor on the day of the journey is the determining factor in whether the minor will be granted a discount.
The Organizer has the right to check the age of the minor at any time, for this purpose the Organizer has the right to request the presentation of an identity document (passport, ID card).
The responsible person confirms that he is aware that the provision of false information may lead to a refusal to grant a discount to a minor.
Participation in the trip is free for children under the age of 5, in which case the child travels without the right to their own seat and is not considered to be a passenger occupying their seat in the transport.
Children between the ages of 5 and 12 are entitled to a separate seat on the bus or other transport as any other passenger.
Rights and obligations of the participant
The participant is obliged to comply with the legislation in force in the country where the tour takes place, local customs and local labels and generally accepted regulations.
During the tour, the Participant must follow the rules of the Organizer, as well as the rules, recommendations, permitted and prohibited during the tour.
The participant’s medical condition must be adequate to participate in the tour. The participant must realistically and adequately assess his / her physical fitness, strength and abilities, general health to participate in the tour.
It is forbidden to leave the group arbitrarily during the tour, to approach dangerous places (eg rocks), to swim in unauthorized places, to consume alcohol (except for small quantities of soft drinks in the place and time of the tour program; each participant must evaluate the appropriate amount their ability), to use drugs, to smoke outside the places permitted by law, to endanger other Participants and endanger their lives, and to damage property during the tour.
During the tour it is forbidden to record and publish and distribute the information provided to the Participants (including on social networks) with the help of a video camera, dictaphone or camera.
The participant must have a valid identity document.
If the Participant has violated the rules, the Organizer is not responsible for the Participant, and the Organizer is not obliged to provide legal assistance and interpreter services in this case.
The participant is obliged to wear suitable shoes and clothes.
The Participant has the right to terminate the participation in the tour at any time, but in this case the Participant is obliged to ensure the return to the hotel and the costs associated with it.
The participant is obliged to provide himself / herself with cash in the required currency during the tour according to the additional costs planned during the trip (for example, purchase of entrance tickets).
The participant is obliged to arrive at the specified collection point no later than 5 minutes before the scheduled collection time. If the Participant has not arrived at the specified place or has missed the specified time, then the Participant will not be admitted to the tour. In this case, the participant will not be refunded for the service. If the Participant wishes to participate in the tour after its delay, the Participant must provide transport to the place where the tour bus is at that moment, assuming all costs and risks.
The Organizer has the right to demand from the Participant to cover the incurred losses if they have occurred due to the Participant’s fault, if the Participant has not complied with the rules, instructions and recommendations or if the Participant’s actions delay or interrupt the tour.
Change of tour date and program
The Organizer has the right to change the date of the tour due to insufficient number of Participants and also in case of force majeure. The participant has the right to accept the changes or refuse the service. In this case, the Organizer is obliged to return the payment.
The Participant has the right to postpone or cancel the trip with the consent of the Organizer, but not later than 48 hours before the tour. Changes can only be made if there are places available for the tour on another day.
The number of places visited may change.
The tour program may change for independent reasons, such as unforeseen weather conditions. In this case, the Participant may not request full or partial payment.
The place and time of collection is the hotel or place and time specified by the Organizer.
The estimated travel time and duration may change due to unforeseen circumstances, as well as traffic, weather conditions, etc.
Trip cancellation
The participant has the right to cancel the tour, but not later than 48 hours before the tour. If the participant cancels the tour later than 48 hours before the tour, no refund will be granted.
The Organizer has the right to cancel the trip if the number of Participants is insufficient or due to other independent circumstances, in which case the Organizer is obliged to inform the Participant and the money is returned to the Participant.
The right to use video and photo materials
The organizer has the right to take photos, film and record the course of the tour.
The organizer has the right to use, publish and post the obtained material on social networks.
Protection of personal data and consent to commercial information
The Participant agrees to the processing of personal data provided by concluding an agreement with the Organizer and filling in the contact information form (name, surname, e-mail, telephone number, hotel).
Complaints
The tour guide must be notified immediately when complaints arise.
If there are complaints about the quality of the service provided by the Organizer during the optional excursions, then the Participant has the right to submit a complaint. The complaint must be submitted in person at the company’s office or by writing to the company’s e-mail within 3 days after the tour.
